Tax PayersAttorney Fees
Monday, May 12, 2008 at 3:41 PM

Word is attorney fees were well over one million. This money would have been a good start to build the dome over west lake. Butch should have been allowed to build condos from the start. If you all think this is a done deal, wait for chapter 2.

tax payer@#$

Waste of taxpayer money? That was paid by the insurance company!!! Maybe the taxpayers should of been throwing the fit before it even went this far and hundreds of thousands of tax payer money was wasted to fight this battle! The city council settled because he was coming after them personally!!!!! He settled so it would not cost anymore!!! Remember he is also a tax payer in Okoboji!!! Double wammie!!

Nikki, talk to Arrowwood if that is where you need to go. They have a bus and can provide shuttle service.
Limoservice

I would try Kalsow's limo service at 330-7070, they are very affordable and you can get them for 1 hour. I don't know if the limo holds 12 people though. Also there is Golden Limo out of Spirit Lake and their number is 336-1059 and have a 16-18 passenger which is pretty neat. Hope this helps!!

We are in need some sort of transportation from the park to Arrowwood for us and our wedding party – total of 12 people. Any recommendations? We’d only need it for about an hour, from about 5-6pm. Please respond or email me!! Thanks all!

to whoa!where's the dock
Monday, May 5, 2008 at 5:01 PM

The dock belonging to the condos next to the Dry Dock couldn't be finished due to a need to change its location. It needed to be moved so as not to end up overlapping the boundary with city property. So what had been started had to be taken out and will be rebuilt five feet away.

None of the tagged fish were caught during the contest according to KUOO. Biggest fish was just over 8 lbs. Sunday was beautiful, but Saturday was rather chilly with the wind, especially in the morning.

You need to give more information to get a useful answer -- transportation from where to where? What date? What time of day? etc
