The Okoboji experience is not complete without a stop by the Maritime Museum. The collection of boats in the museum includes rare antique wooden boats along with others that have been pulled from the waters of West Lake Okoboji and have unique stories each their own. You can browse through a reproduction of the original “Okoboji Store” or peruse through signs and memorabilia of Arnolds Park Amusement Park’s 126 year history. Kids and kids at heart will both enjoy the area history that the Museum retells.
A gift shop and The Iowa Welcome Center is also housed in the same facility.
