Milt Heinrich, former Chair of the Art Department of Dana College, has spent the past two years creating a series of acrylic landscape paintings including many images of the Okoboji area from “another point of view”. If you have ever spent time walking with a painter or photographer you soon learned they are constantly looking at the world in new ways. A unique view of a scene, an odd set of colors, or a peculiar set of shapes can all inspire the artistic eye. Milt is one of those artists that turns ordinary images into extra-ordinary paintings.
