The Iowa Great Lakes Region features a number of delightful museums and landmarks for the public to enjoy. This exhibit, which will take place during our area’s traditional tourist “off-season”, gives these institutions a chance to select and feature their favorite individual treasures. The exhibit will celebrate the area’s past, present and future (as well as the organizations that provide them to this area) that will come together in a single gallery setting. Such items will include paintings by Abbie Gardner (from the Abbie Gardner Historic Site) as well as selections from the Dickinson County Nature Center, Iowa Rock and Roll Museum Association, Higgins Museum of Money, Maritime Museum and more. We encourage you to visit our area museums, educational centers and sites to enjoy what they offer to our area
